Welcome

The Apple Duathlon will be held on Saturday May 29th, 2010. It is held in the city of Sartell Minnesota approximately 80 miles northwest of Minneapolis / St. Paul. The race is in its 28th year. In 2009, we had another successful race with attendance reaching almost 500 participants. Last year 2009 was 1 of only 3 World Qualifers in the USA. The race is part of the 2010 Midwest Series.

The Apple has a strong history of hosting some top athletes and sent many qualifiers to World competition this year. In addition to having a very solid athlete group we also pride our race on the course and staff that make it run smooth. The course is challenging but extremely well marked, organized, and scenic. Our volunteer base consists of many local athletes and families that have been a part of the race for many years. The city of Sartell and surrounding community’s public works departments are big supporters of the event and work closely with our committee to ensure a safe race.

Sartell Minnesota is centrally located and easy to get to. The amenities on race day and post race celebrations have always been a state favorite and dominated other area races.
