The Apple Committee wishes to thank everyone who made this year's event a huge success!

2009 Results are now posted!

 This year, the Apple Duathlon is a qualifying event for the 2009 ITU Duathlon Short Course World Championship in Concord, NC USA Sept 24-26! Competing age group athletes with a USAT annual license have the chance to qualify as follows: The top 3 athletes in each age group will qualify, with roll-down spots to 6th place (roll-down spots need to be within 20% of the age group winner). In addition, Competing Elite athletes can qualify for the Elite Team as follows: Top 3 American finishers per gender, with roll-down spots to 8th place overall.  Click HERE for more USAT Elite qualifying rules.

All age group and elite wave participants are eligible for door prizes.  Athletes MUST be present to win a door prize!

$4,000 in Prize Money!

$800 to be given away for "surprise" racing achievements.

$3,200 in prize money awarded to top finishers!  All athletes competing for prize money (except Relay Teams)  will be placed in the Elite wave and will not be eligible for age group rankings or World Duathlon Championship age group slots.
